The Role
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will;
- Lead the Low Level Controls team on full project life cycle engineering of PLC and control systems design, development, implementation and commissioning onsite
- Lead complex projects, coaching and mentoring engineers
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of control systems processes
Skills and Experience Required
You are a natural engineer who enjoys the challenge of creating complex solutions for demanding clients. It is essential you bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
- Proven success in a leadership position
- 5 years+ of complex Industrial Automation solutions, ideally in Materials Handling such as Parcel Sortation, Conveyor Systems, etc
- Design of complex control systems architectures and specifications for controls systems
- Development of control system code, providing expertise in programming languages, standards and tools
- Ability to prepare and present complex technical data
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
