The Role
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing testing and commissioning of this technology, ensuring fulfillment of client expectations. You will;
  • Develop detailed commissioning and test plans for sorter and conveyor systems
  • Execute sub-system testing and handovers
  • Oversee total system SAT and CAT testing
  • Lead a team of commissioning engineers
  • Continuously monitor and report commissioning status and progress using the "test database”
  • Actively participate in specific interfaces, EDS, and commissioning activities
  • Regularly review resource allocation and planning
  • Provide valuable maintenance support and expertly manage risks during system upgrades
Skills and Experience Required
  • You are a natural engineer who enjoys the challenge of providing complex solutions for demanding clients. It is essential you bring:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • 10 years+ of complex Industrial Automation solutions, including, ideally, Baggage Handling System
  • Project management experience would be an advantage 
  • Leadership experience, technical and people management are essential
  • Must have experience in either PLC or HLC software development and onsite commissioning
