Social Awareness

For us, going beyond “business” is a matter of principle

New World Consulting is raising awareness for multiple social causes

There’s always somebody ready to listen

Regularly checking in on your friends and family is a great way to support them, especially if they’re under a great amount of stress or seem to be acting differently. Simply asking how they are and giving them time to talk could make a massive difference to their lives.

If you need support yourself, but feel as if there’s nobody to talk to you, consider checking out the Department of Health’s list of contacts, which can be found here.

We’re speaking openly about mental health and chronic illness

By opening up about the personal experiences of our team, we hope to help others seek help for their own health needs

The importance of seeking external support or treatment for mental health has become more well-known in recent years. It can be extremely difficult to speak candidly about the difficulties we face with mental health or chronic illness, especially due to a lack of understanding or education, cultural attitudes, and gendered stereotypes. Having dealt with a variety of health issues ourselves, including chronic illnesses, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and panic attacks, we’ve learnt the importance of opening up and seeking help first hand. We know that these issues, as well as undiagnosed learning difficulties, are as present in our industry as anywhere else, and seek to draw attention to them through our work.

We have the battle scars. We have faced our fears. We have overcome them. Now we can share our stories to help others in need.

Proud supporters of the WWF-UK’s
Adopt a Jaguar Program

New World Consulting are proud to be raising funds in support of the WWF-UK in order to “create and manage protected areas” for jaguars inhabiting the Amazon rainforest. We feel profoundly connected to these animals—as represented by our brand logo—and are therefore strongly compelled to raise awareness about the dangers faced by them, including poaching and deforestation.

For every placement we make, we Adopt A Jaguar in their name. They will receive a welcome pack, including an official certificate of adoption. We aim to adopt at least 24 Jaguars per year.

Please consider donating a monthly amount (from as little as £3.00) to the WWF. For more information, visit the WWF’s Adopt A Jaguar page.
